Room Reservation Policies
Welcome to the Temple University Libraries' study room reservation system. This system allows Temple affiliates to reserve a private study room on the second or third floor of Paley Library or a viewing room in the Media Services department. Please make your reservation online and pick up the keys to rooms on the second and third floor at the Circulation Desk in Tuttleman and keys to media viewing rooms and the Gaming Den at the Media Services Desk located in the basement of Paley library.
Policies regarding the use of rooms: Paley second and third floor study rooms and Media Services viewing rooms are available for groups of 3 or more Temple students, faculty, or staff. You may reserve the Paley study rooms for two one-hour blocks of time, and the Media Services viewing room for three one-hour blocks of time. You may reserve the Gaming Den (Paley 308) for one four-hour block of time. Each patron is able to make one reservation daily, up to 48 hours in advance.
Media Services Viewing Rooms 17 and 18 are intended to be used for reserve movie viewing or production related activities. The Gaming Den (Paley 308) may be reserved for use of the Media Services gaming systems and tabletop games.
You are responsible for disposing of all trash upon leaving the room, and promptly returning the key to the circulation or Media Services desk when your allotted time has expired. Failure to pick up the room key within 10 minutes of your reservation time will result in the loss of the room if someone else is waiting. If you decide you're unable to keep your reservation, please use the link included in the confirmation e-mail you received after booking.
Failure to abide by the rules and regulations of the study rooms may result in temporary suspension of your ability to reserve the rooms. Loss of the room key will result in a $25.00 fee for replacement.
